Uncommon problems that occasionally occur are described below.
Frames usually hide one or both security symbols, the browser lock and URL's beginning with https. If your browser does not show the padlock you should pay attention. If your browser thought it was secure it would show the padlock. You should reconnect without the frame by entering the Web sites home URL in your Web browser.

When you start an order we store a code on your computer that can be seen only by our Web site and self deletes after 90 days. This is called a cookie. Our Web server uses the cookie to identify your personal shopping cart. Without cookies the contents of your shopping cart would be lost when you change pages. Cookies are a function of your Web browser. All Web sites attempt to use cookies, usually when you click on anything in their Web site. The settings in your Web browser may keep you from using our shopping cart if we cannot save a cookie.
Every time you add items to your cart or when you are entering personal information you are automatically switched to a secure encrypted connection and all communication between our server abed your Web browser is encrypted down to the tiniest image.
We do not subcontract our shopping cart and payment information out to a third party like many Web sites. Every page you visit on our Web site is addressed by the villagekitchen.com URL.
