RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Although we try to honestly represent our merchandise we understand that when you open your shipment our merchandise might not meet your expectations. Our return policy attempts to mimic shopping at a local business where the customer picks up and returns the merchandise or standard terms of trade for a local merchant retailing the type of merchandise ordered. We hope the few, simple conditions on returns are easy to follow.
We need to receive returned merchandise quickly so we place time limits on the return process. We are not in the rental business so we can only accept merchandise in new, unused condition. If you are not sure about an item we suggest ordering the smallest quantity so you inspect the color and composition.

If you are not satisfied with your
purchase of a VillageKitchen.com product, please e-mail Village Kitchen using the link at bottom of this page requesting an Return Material Authorization (RMA) form within 14 calendar days of the delivery of the product. Special Order, personalized or other customized product may not be returned for refund or exchange under any circumstances.
Condition of Return
If the item is returned prepaid unused, unwashed, and undamaged packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product we will exchange it or offer the original purchaser a refund based on your original method of payment.
Amount of Refund
Refund amount will be
based on the lesser of the invoiced price or our current selling price
on the day item is delivered to our warehouse less shipping and handling. Items returned incomplete
or not in original condition may be subject to additional fees or returned
to the customer as non-refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping
cost to return item.

NOTE: VillageKitchen.com recommends that you (1) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (2) either insure your package for safe return to VillageKitchen.com or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking and (2) insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. Please note that the United States Postal Service (USPS) does not deliver packages to our warehouse because we are in a location they designate as rural.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS
An VillageKitchen.com product is considered defective if it shows symptoms of mechanical defect, preventing basic operability, upon its first use out of the box. If you believe that your product is defective, please e-mail within 30 calendar days of the FedEx delivery date. VillageKitchen.com will determine whether the product is defective and offer you the following options:
Replacement
The same product that you ordered will be shipped to you at VillageKitchen.com's expense. We will set up a replacement order and provide the procedure for returning the defective product.
Defective Merchandise Terms and Conditions
This policy applies only to products currently offered at VillageKitchen.com.
As new products are offered, VillageKitchen.com reserves the right to determine whether or not this policy applies. .
If the product is deemed by VillageKitchen.com NOT to be defective, the Manufacturer's standard product warranty will apply.
Shipping will be arranged at VillageKitchen.com's expense for all products determined by VillageKitchen.com to be defective.
VillageKitchen.com reserves the right to test and inspect returned defective products. If the condition of the product is misrepresented by the customer, VillageKitchen.com may impose a $400 handling fee.
Defective Third-Party Products
If you discover what you believe is a product defect for any third-party product, please contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding the manufacturer's warranty.
VillageKitchen.com's Limited Warranty does not apply to products that are not included in VillageKitchen.com's product description even if packaged or sold with VillageKitchen.com products.
PROOF OF PURCHASE
VillageKitchen.com will send you a confirmation of your order via email if you have included an e-mail address with your order. If you have not included an e-mail address, you will receive a confirmation of your order attached to the first box when your order is shipped.
PAYMENT
VillageKitchen.com accepts credit cards, checks and money orders as forms of payment.
Additional charges incurred by VillageKitchen.com's fulfillment of your order will be added to the total order price to fully reimburse VillageKitchen.com for additional purchases, upgrades, order modifications, sales taxes or fees, customer or shipper initiated address correction charges, shipping errors and all costs incurred by disputes settled in VillageKitchen.com's favor.
Credit Card
If a credit card company is being used for a purchase, VillageKitchen.com may obtain a pre-approval from the credit card company for an amount up to the amount of the order. Billing to your credit card occurs at the time of purchase, shipment, or shortly after. Special order sales and orders shipped by third party's will be billed when the order is placed. Credit card
orders require the order billing address to match the credit card statement address for the order
to be shipped. New ship-to addresses that are different from the billing
address may require additional verification that will temporarily delay
the order from shipping until verification is complete. To ensure the
quickest processing and shipping of your order, it is important to provide
the most accurate information possible.

PLEASE NOTE:
- We are unable to accept credit cards issued by banks outside of the United States.
- Debit cards and check cards have daily spending limits that may substantially delay the processing of your order.
Credit Card Security Codes
VillageKitchen.com requires the credit card security code for your card for any online purchase. The credit card security code is an individual three- or four-digit number specific to your credit card that may be printed on the face of your card above the embossed account number (if American Express), or on the back of your card, on the signature panel (if Visa, MasterCard or Discover). Asking for and confirming your credit card's security code helps validate that you - and only you - are in the possession of your credit card and protects you from unauthorized use of your account.

VillageKitchen.com accepts checks, cashier's checks and money orders as valid forms of payment. The check, cashier's check or money order must be payable to
Village Kitchen, and include your web purchase order number and/or a copy of your order. Please mail your payment to:

VillageKitchen.com must receive your payment within 10 calendar days or your order will be canceled. Please allow 15 business days for check processing after
VillageKitchen.com receives your payment.
SALES TAX
VillageKitchen.com purchases will include sales tax based on your California shipping address and the sales tax rate in effect at the time your order is placed. If the sales tax rate changes before the product is shipped, the rate in effect at the time your order was received in our system will apply. The proof of purchase will include California sales tax. The customer is responsible for any non-California tax, sales tax or fees.
TAX-EXEMPT ORDERS
State and Federal tax exemption certificates are not accepted.
SHIPPING
Most of our merchandise is heavy and requires substantial packaging and our shipping and handling charges reflect the current FedEx rate computed by manufacturers suggested weight, size and estimated packaging costs according to the quantity ordered.
We ship all orders except FOB shipments via FedEx Ground or Home delivery.
FedEx will e-mail the shipment ETA to the customer.
Please note that we are not able to adjust the shipping address once a package has left VillageKitchen.com's warehouse.
Title and risk of loss to all products will pass to you on shipment.
All merchandise is inspected prior to shipment.
Signature may be required for delivery:
Most of our shipments contain valuable merchandise. If you will not be at the shipping address to accept delivery of your product, consider shipping the item to an address where someone you trust will be available to sign for your package.
Shipping Exceptions
Refused or return to sender orders will be subject to the greater of
a $15.00 or 35% restocking fee. Original shipping charges are not refundable.
In addition, refused orders will be subject to additional shipping charges
incurred in the return of the shipment to Village Kitchen.
Improper delivery address: The Customer is responsible for all costs and charges incurred by VillageKitchen.com for address correction imposed by the carrier because of improper address entered in shopping cart.
Undeliverable Packages: Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, please contact us to make arrangements for reshipment.
Failed Delivery Attempts: Most of our carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. After three delivery attempts, the package will be returned to us.
DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
We inspect and carefully bubble wrap all items before shipping. If your order arrives in unsatisfactory condition e-mail us at once to begin the claim process. We will e-mail you full instructions on how to safely unpack your shipment and complete the claim process.
ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are processed
on a first-in, first-out based on stock availability. Most in stock
orders with a valid form of payment and correct address ship the same
week the order is placed. The estimated shipment dates are based on product availability, payment processing time, and warehouse processing time and does not include transit time. Payment processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need and full payment or a full authorization, in the case of credit card orders.
Unanticipated changes in supply can affect product availability.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

PRICES
VillageKitchen.com endeavors to offer you competitive prices on current
VillageKitchen.com products. Your total order price will include the price of the product (on the day of shipping) plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges.
VillageKitchen.com reserves the right to change prices for products displayed at
VillageKitchen.com at any time.
Should
VillageKitchen.com reduce its price on any shipped product within 10 calendar days of shipment, you may e-mail
VillageKitchen.com to request a refund or credit of the difference between the price you were charged and the current selling price. To receive the refund or credit you must e-mail
VillageKitchen.com within 14 business days of shipment.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Order lead time is the length of time it will take us to validate your credit card or verify your check has cleared, assemble the right products and package your order. Shipping time is the length of time it will take for the package to travel from our warehouse to your shipping address.
VillageKitchen.com makes every effort to ship your product within seven days from acceptance of order. The estimated lead times are in business days (Monday through Friday) excluding Federal Reserve holidays. Lead times will begin the following business day for orders placed and credit cleared after 2 p.m. PST.
Although every effort is made to ship your order according to the lead time provided, shipping dates may change due to changes in supply. If the lead time changes,
VillageKitchen.com will contact you via e-mail and provide a revised shipping estimate.
Given the popularity of some products,
VillageKitchen.com may restrict the number of such items that you may purchase. Any product limit restrictions will be posted on
VillageKitchen.com web site. This information is subject to change.
PRODUCT WARRANTY / MANUFACTURERS GUARANTEE
All our merchandise is guaranteed to be as represented on our Web site. If any merchandise does not perform as advertised we will repair or replace the merchandise free of charge for 30 days from invoice date.
All products sold by
VillageKitchen.com carry a
Manufacturers Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship without express or implied warranties from
VillageKitchen.com. If you have questions about any manufacturers' warranties that accompany such
products, please contact the manufacturer directly.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
VillageKitchen.com is not responsible for typographical errors.
VillageKitchen.com reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of sale at

All sales at VillageKitchen.com are governed by California law, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions. Risk of loss and title for all common carrier delivered purchases pass to the purchaser upon shipment to the recipient.
