Frigoverre pitchers have a tight sealing lid, just a clockwise quarter turn to open or close. These pitchers are not suitable for use in traditional ovens but can be used in microwave ovens on the condition that the plastic lid is removed. All hot foods and liquids should be should be allowed to cool before being placed in the pitchers.
